Clinical Education
The University of New Mexico offers clinical education experiences at several excellent clinical sites in the Albuquerque Metro area. During clinical education experiences, students gain rich patient care experiences that prepare them to work independently as athletic trainers. Current clinical sites are listed below, and UNM frequently considers new clinical site options on a regular basis. Additionally, the Master of Science in Athletic Training program includes a 15-week immersive clinical experience that provides the option for students to complete clinical experiences at locations beyond the Albuquerque Metro area.
