COEHS Faculty & Staff

We believe that outstanding undergraduate and graduate programs are characterized by the quality of faculty and the opportunities they afford to their students as mentors and teachers in classes, practica, and research experiences. The College of Education & Human Sciences at UNM is proud of its outstanding faculty and nationally recognized programs.

Our cutting edge research, outreach, and professional development have attracted more than $12 million in grant support. We prepare more of New Mexico's teachers, counselors, and administrators than any other institution of higher education in New Mexico. We are a national leader in American Indian education with eight Native American faculty members, the most of any public university in the country. More than 20 percent of our faculty members are Hispanic, helping us excel in bilingual, multicultural, and ESL education.
