Center for Student Success
The Center for Student Success exists to help students envision and achieve success — both in and out of the classroom. Success can be defined in many ways, but we believe that students are far more likely to attain their definition of success once they attain a clear understanding of their options and opportunities. To this end, the Center for Student Success is constantly looking to provide knowledgeable personal and academic advisement in a comfortable, transparent environment. We believe that transparent processes and communication are essential in removing the barriers between students and the educational experience that will set them apart from the crowd.
Though providing guidance to new students is an essential part of our mission, we are also dedicated to assisting those nearer to the completion of their formal education. We endeavor to help students prepare for the future by offering a variety of programs, events, and opportunities, such as:
- Field Service
- Leadership Development
- Professional Development
- Prospective Student Recruitment
- And more...
Although the doors to the Center for Student Success are closed, the advisement center and other staff in the Center for Student Success are working and available to be of assistance during these challenging times. Although no in-person services are being offered, personnel and services are available online through email, Zoom phone or chat (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. MDT). We also encourage you to connect with us via one of the previously mentioned modalities. Here is the most recent information from UNM about COVID-19. http://www.unm.edu/coronavirus/
