COEHS PhD student won LoboBITES competition

Andrea Arrellin, a doctoral student in Special Education, won the LoboBITES competition at the 2023 Shared Knowledge Conference. Graduate students were given three minutes to present their research and judged by a panel of UNM and Albuquerque community members. Ms. Arrellin presented her research on Sexual Health Support and Intellectual Disability. She is excited to represent UNM at a regional competition next and raise awareness on sexual health support for individuals with disabilities.
