Aaron Vogel

Aaron Vogel is the Coordinator of Academic Advisement in the College of Education and Human Sciences Advisement Center. Aaron is originally from Santa Fe, but spent 9 years in Los Angeles, CA and 2 years in Washington, DC. These years away helped Aaron realize how special and unique New Mexico is! So, he had to come back. You can catch him—if you are fast enough—riding his bicycle around Albuquerque. He also loves to play basketball, attend concerts, complete the New York Times Crossword, and spend time with family and friends.
Aaron is passionate about providing individualized support to students and brings 10+ years of experience in higher education access and success into his role as Coordinator of Academic Advisement. His favorite part of working with students is building their capacity as life-long learners, and helping students find their voice in their studies and future career.
Like books, podcasts, or music? No way! Aaron does too. He recommends reading There, There by Tommy Orange OR Dilla Time by Dan Charnas. “Se Regalan Dudas” is a podcast that Aaron really enjoys. His favorite band—BADBADNOTGOOD—is a little bit out there, but he recommends listening to them if you enjoy both hip-hop and jazz.
Red or green? Aaron says, “Hmm, ¿Por qué no los dos?”
