Kevin O'Grady

I’m a New Mexico public school educator who spent most of my professional career teaching middle school visual arts. I’m excited to join the dynamic advising team in the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of New Mexico and support students in higher education, especially those preparing to become the next generation of teachers serving our great state.

I bring empathy, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow. I want students and colleagues to feel informed, supported, and cared for as they navigate their educational and professional journeys. Just as my own mentors helped shape my professional path, I hope to help students build confidence, recognize their strengths, and discover their own paths to success.
