Dominique Mendoza
Dominique Mendoza is an Academic Advisor at the Center for Student Success within the College of Education and Human Sciences at UNM.
She obtained her BBA with a dual concentration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Management from the Anderson School of Management, additionally obtaining a minor in Communication and Journalism, with Cum Laude honors.
Dominique was born in Georgia but moved to New Mexico shortly after she was born and has been living in Albuquerque for most of her life. She is extremely proud to be a Lobo and throughout her time at UNM she was involved in ASUNM Emerging Lobo Leaders, LoboTHON as an Event Operations Committee member, and the Anderson School of Management Student Success Leaders team. As an Academic Advisor, she hopes to consistently provide students with the support and resources needed to be successful at UNM and to be proud to call themselves a Lobo, all while enjoying this time in their lives as a student.
Along with this, Dominique is a huge Disney fan and had the opportunity to move to Florida to work at Disney World through the Disney College Program. She also enjoys all types of food, especially tacos and spicy chips, binge watching television shows, photography, music, traveling, and playing all the daily New York Times games!
