Reading K-12 Endorsement Coursework
The courses approved by the NMPED for an teaching field endorsement in reading is for teachers in grades K-12 who wish to increase their understanding of reading theories and practical application.
Process to Register into the Endorsement Coursework
This endorsement coursework does not require admission into the College of Education and Human Sciences or enrollment in a degree-seeking program in LLSS. UNM students can register into any of the courses listed for the endorsement coursework. Some courses may have restrictions, please contact Cecilia Estrada at llssws@unm.edu to lift the restrictions.
Non-UNM students need to apply for a non-degree student (graduate or undergraduate) status to be able to register into the courses in the endorsement coursework.
