Education Policy in NM: A 2009 Update on Challenges and Opportunities
On August 20, 2009, Peter Winograd, the education policy advisor to Governor Bill Richardson, gave a presentation to the College of Education faculty at its annual retreat. In his talk, entitled "Education Policy in NM: A 2009 Update on Challenges and Opportunities," Dr. Winograd detailed the challenges we face educating our children here in the State of New Mexico. He also addressed how New Mexico is responding to those challenges.
