Educational Psychology graduate student Andrea Bancroft presents thesis research in Graduate Studies Showcase

On Thursday, March 12th, COEHS graduate student Andrea Bancroft, who is currently writing her master's thesis with educational psychology Assistant Professor Ursula Moffitt, presented her ongoing research at the Graduate Studies Poster Showcase. Andrea is conducting a mixed-methods study examining college students' gendered narratives, looking at how they make meaning about their experiences and how that meaning making relates to a sense of university belonging. Andrea presented this work to other graduate students, faculty, and other attendees from across UNM at the poster showcase. Fellow members of Dr. Moffitt's RISE Research Lab, Cristina Medrano and Bailey Rutherford, attended the Poster Showcase to support Andrea and other UNM graduate students. Andrea will begin her PhD in Educational Psychology this coming fall after she completes her MA.
