UNM PETE Alum Featured in the ABQ Journal

The Albuquerque Journal newspaper recently did a story on Matthew Hickman, UNM Physical Education Teacher Education graduate.

Matthew is currently teaching physical education at Wherry Elementary School in APS. Matthew earned his BS in Physical Education Teacher Education in 2019 and is currently in the PETE master's program.

The story focuses on Matthew's experience as a first-year physical education teacher during COVID-19 and teaching online and the challenges with delivering PE in a virtual format.
