COEHS The Professional Development Grant (PDG)
The PDG is a grant which provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to obtain funding to attend a domestic professional or academic conference/institute in their field of study. The maximum award is $1,000.00 during academic year. Eligible expenses include: conference registration, lodging, and travel.
- A student may only receive the award twice, once per academic year.
- This award is not transferrable; an approved application may not be applied to another event or to another student
- Must submit application prior to attending event.
Eligibility
- Must be a registered COEHS student at the time of the conference
- Must be in a degree seeking program or certificate program, enrolled at least part-time (6 credit hours), at the time of the conference
- Must be in good academic standing, i.e. cannot be on academic probation

Notification of Award Status:
- Applications for current semester – Notification will be e-mailed approximately 1 month after the semester deadline.
- Applications for future semester – Notification will be after that semester begins.
- Notification will be toward the end of that semester
How you will be awarded:
All reimbursements will be applied to your Bursar’s Account minus any balance that may exist.
