Research & Scholarly Interests
Kyle completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of South Dakota. He also completed an APA-accredited predoctoral clinical internship and a NIAAA T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina. Kyle’s research is broadly focused on understanding dynamic within-person processes of substance use, emotion, and self-regulation using intensive longitudinal methods (e.g., ecological momentary assessment). In addition, Kyle’s recent work uses advanced predictive modeling to estimate individual differences in substance use intervention effects.
