Rory Torres

Rory, originally from Los Alamos, NM, spent much of his childhood outdoors with his three siblings. Driven by a passion for science, he relocated to Albuquerque to pursue a Biochemistry degree at the University of New Mexico.

During his time at UNM, he began working with Student Support Services TRIO and found joy from assisting fellow students and witnessing their achievements. He finds fulfillment in forging connections and contributing to his community.

Outside of work, Rory explores his creativity through art, gardening, and music. Additionally, he has developed an interest in climbing and hiking.
