Cedric is originally from Oakland, California. He began his college journey at Chabot Community College where he received his AA in Criminal Justice. After completing, he then transitioned to San Jose State University, where he then moved to Albuquerque, NM, and transferred to UNM. He obtained his B.A. in Africana Studies and Sociology, with a certificate in Race and Social Justice. Go Lobos!

His background includes mentoring, working in Corporate America, and education as a Middle School Special Education educator. One thing he has learned is that we are different but the difference should not keep us removed from one another. It is in the difference we are able to have a meaningful conversation which allows us to see the similarities we have. He enjoys learning about people and making sure everyone has a comfortable open space to talk.

He enjoys cooking, which he believe brings people to together. Other hobbies he has are reading, writing poetry, spending time with family when he has a chance to visit California, and giving back to the community.

Helping people achieve their goals and bringing laughter to people are his delights! To answer the question red or green, he would have to say Christmas!
