Research & Scholarly Interests
My scholarly work aims to improve long-term outcomes for adolescents with disabilities, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. I pursue this goal through three primary pathways. First is to enhance teacher practices in the classroom through teacher preparation. Second is to improve the quality of support for students inside and outside the classroom through students’ self-efficacy. Third is to facilitate the transition to post-school success beyond the classroom through a multidisciplinary team approach.
