Dr. Yu-Yu Hsiao specializes in refining and applying advanced quantitative methodologies. His research focuses on evaluating the psychometric properties of psychological and educational instruments, with contributions to multilevel modeling and structural equation modeling. Renowned for his methodological innovations, Dr. Hsiao is dedicated to collaborative research across diverse fields, including education, exercise science, substance use disorder treatment, and resilience following brain injuries. He previously served as the chair of the Multilevel Modeling Special Interest Group (SIG) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and currently co-chairs the Structural Equation Modeling SIG within the AERA.
