Dr. Jordan DeBrine received a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of New Mexico and completed her doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute. Dr. DeBrine's doctoral graduate training focused on the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior. Dr. DeBrine completed postdoctoral training with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, during which she worked as a clinical supervisor in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Outpatient Program at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Dr. DeBrine's research interests focus on increasing the generality of behavioral intervention amongst clients who engage in severe problem behavior, empirical integration of client choice and autonomy within behavioral assessment and treatment practices, and the application of behavior analytic practices to increase client safety across community settings.
