COEHS Distinguished Professor Ruth Luckasson Retires After 43 Years of Service to the College

COEHS and the Department of Special Education celebrated Distinguished Professor of Special Education Ruth Luckasson's 43 years of service in a retirement celebration on May 3rd. A professor, scholar, and advocate, Ruth worked tirelessly to improve the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, consulting on death penalty cases and testifying before Congress and the World Health Organization. Professor Luckasson will be deeply missed, and the College is grateful for her service and advocacy.
