Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) Program Partners With Sandia Prep to Host First Adaptive Sports Day

PETE faculty and students hosted an inaugural Adaptive Sports Day in collaboration with Sandia Prep this April. The event brought together community members, middle schoolers, and UNM undergraduate and graduate students in a day of inclusive activity and movement that included goal ball, wheelchair basketball, and guided runs--all designed with equity and fun in mind.
