E3: Effective Evidence-based Education
Capitalizing on UNM’s exceptional faculty, course offerings, and professional network, E3 will prepare new, highly qualified special education teachers at the master’s level to improve literacy and mathematics achievement for students with disabilities. At the end of this two-year program, scholars will earn a Master of Arts degree from UNM and be eligible for initial licensure in special education in New Mexico.
Who is this for?
Pre-service and in-service teachers who have not yet received initial licensure, must meet minimum qualifications for admission to SPCD MA
Timing
Two-year program, part-time enrollment, late afternoon and evening courses, cohorts begin in spring terms
Application Deadline
For best consideration, prospective students should submit their applications by November 7, 2025.
